New CNC Lathe Increases Capabilities, Capacity and Productivity

Honematic Machine Corporation, Boylston, MA has recently completed the installation of a new CNC lathe. The new machine, a Mazak Slant Turn Nexus 550 is designed to efficiently machine long shaft workpieces with 35.8" diameter maximum turning diameter x 120" distance between centers with a 12.5" spindle bore will help the shop meet the requirements of a broad range of customers and add additional capacity to the shop's overall capabilities.
